I help people and organizations solve problems by helping them design better services & experiences. I do this by facilitating co-creative and collaborative workshops. I also conduct design research and participate in creating and
testing prototype designs.
I currently work at Scorpion, a marketing and technology company where I work with enterprise and healthcare organizations. Before Scorpion I worked at Toi and ActiveColor where I had the opportunity to collaborate with some awesome companies: WeWork, Sennheiser, Waste Management, Glide, the University of Chicago Medical Center and many more.
I also love to teach what I've learned from others and have had the opportunity to lecture at CSU Channel Islands, CSU Long Beach, CSU Los Angeles, and General Assembly. I also provided mentorship at Career Foundry. I currently am an adjunct professor at College of the Canyons where I run the college's Intersect design lab.
I am a designer at heart. I fell in love with design 12 years ago and have been pursing growth and knowledge within the design space since that love affair began. I earned a degree in art/design from CSU Channel Islands and have since earned certifications from the Nielsen Norman Group, AJ & Smart, and the Interaction Design Foundation.
I also enjoy speaking and writing about design. I've had the opportunity to speak on podcasts that include Design Huddle, Growing Design, and Dallas Design Sprints. You can find articles I have written on Medium and Substack.
When I'm not obsessing about design I am probably playing video games, reading, watching movies, collecting vinyl toys or hiking. I live with my wife, dog and two cats in a small town outside of Los Angeles California.
